Vintage 1983 John Deere Employee Credit Union Medallion $100 Million Waterloo IA For Sale

This is a vintage 1983 John Deere Employees Credit Union commemorative medallion from Waterloo, Iowa. The solid brass, die-struck medal marks the credit union reaching $100 million in assets.

The front has a script \"$100 Million in assets 1983.\" The back has the words \"We Are Family\" over a raised image of the credit union building with a flag and clouds. Below it are \"John Deere Employees Credit Union\" and \"Waterloo, Iowa.\" There is a blank rectangular spot for engraving.

The medal comes in its original cream cardboard box with a folded \"Our Family Is Growing\" insert. The insert says the credit union was organized in 1934 and describes the medallion. A small walnut-tone wood block with a slot, and a felt-covered block, are included in the box. They look like parts of a display stand.

A great addition for collectors of John Deere memorabilia, credit union and bank advertising, commemorative medals, Waterloo Iowa items, and 1980s brass tokens.
