Vintage 1983 Swiss Military HENKE Black Leather Boots Peugeot Steel Heel RARE For Sale

This is an exceptionally rare pair of vintage Swiss Military elite low ankle boots. These were custom engineered by the legendary master bootmaker Henke. This model features a highly over-engineered layout designed specifically for specialized alpine operations and military motorcycle dispatch riders.Rare Technical Features

• Dual-Vamp Hidden Corset Lacing: Features an internal closure system with two hidden leather flaps under the tongue. Lacing this inner layer locks the heel in place and seals out weather.
• Integrated Wrap-Around Ankle Strap: A thick leather strap is permanently joined to the upper. It threads through a single rear leather loop and fastens with a side buckle to secure the ankle and prevent loose laces from catching on vehicle machinery.
• Premium Original Laces: Includes original 3/8-inch wide, textured rawhide leather military laces built for extreme tension, the internal laces are not present.
• Peugeot Metallurgical Hardware: The rugged nailed-in soles feature a hard, wavy corrugated lug design. The back of the heel is reinforced with a heavy protective steel heel iron stamped with the authentic, cursive "Peu" (Peugeot) foundry hallmark. There is also a pad of hard leather at the toe ends (see picture).
• Stealth Henke Branding: The prestigious Henke cursive logo is lightly hot-stamped into the interior leather wall (the Swiss Military authorities did not want any very obvious branding on the shoes), easily visible under direct studio lighting (see picture).
