Printed on rag paper with hand set type and line engraved illustrations.

As far as I can tell the articles are of interest to soldiers. There is a mention of the Civil War on pages 122-123. Other chapters have articles of interest mostly to military men. Some about battles. One about Dueling
Advertising on covers from The Great American Tea Company. There is a nice line engraving ad for The Union Washing Machine and Wringer.

Good condition with wear on the covers and also appears to have once been folded vertically. Still has it’s original thread binding which is slightly loose.
