Huge Vintage GE 4830571 KGI Airport Rotating Beacon Red Glass Lens 15.75" RARE For Sale

Has a few defects, see pictures for condition details. No cracks.

Up for sale is a rare, large-format GE 4830571 red glass lens, originally used as the front cover for the iconic KGI series rotating airport beacons. Measuring nearly 16 inches in diameter, this is a substantial piece of aviation history.

These lenses were engineered to withstand the extreme heat of high-wattage lighthouse-style bulbs and the harsh weather conditions of airport tower installations. Unlike smaller runway lights, this lens is a specialized industrial component that is now extremely difficult to find.

Aviation Restoration: A critical replacement part for GE KGI or L-802 beacon units.

Industrial Decor: Its massive scale and deep red color make it a striking centerpiece for aviation-themed rooms or "industrial chic" displays.

Collectors: A unique addition to any collection of airfield lighting or vintage industrial glass.
