Antique Sitzendorf Germany Courting Couple Porcelain Figurine c.1918-1920

Antique Sitzendorf German porcelain courting couple figural group, dating to approximately 1918–1920. Beautifully modeled in the Rococo Revival style, depicting an elegantly dressed young couple surrounded by elaborate hand-applied porcelain flowers and floral baskets.

The piece is richly hand-painted in vibrant colors with delicate floral decoration, finely detailed faces and clothing, raised porcelain blossoms, and gilt accents along the ornate scrollwork base.

Marked on the underside with the blue crowned “S” Sitzendorf factory mark and “GERMANY.”

Approximate size: 6" wide × 5" high.

A highly decorative early 20th-century German porcelain group with impressive detail and an abundance of individually applied flowers. Pre-owned antique condition with age-related wear. Because of the extremely delicate applied floral decoration, please examine all photos carefully for any small petal or leaf chips or losses.
