Antique Revolutionary War powder horn, initials B.L. and dated 1775, has a crack For Sale

The antique Revolutionary War powder horn with initials B.L. and dated 1775 holds historical significance as an original piece from the period of the American Revolution. As a collectible item in the militaria theme, this powder horn serves as a tangible reminder of the conflict that shaped the United States' independence. Despite a crack in the horn, it retains its authenticity and adds to its charm as a unique piece of history.I believe this piece is original and dates back to 1775 during the Revolutionary War, 1 year from the American Independence. The age looks consistent and the crack in the horn and the end cap add to the story of this being legitimate. No stopper or strap. The end wood cap has a drilled and threaded hole with a matching hand made wood screw for the strap attachment and possibly to fill the horn with gun powder. Larger size horn at about 14 inches. With the carved initials and date this seems to be a special and historic piece.
