This sale offers an antique and original full size British 1914/15 Star Medal named and IDd to 7849 PTE. (Private) J. PURKISS. R. SC: FUS: (Royal Scots Fusiliers).The bronze medal contains a replacement ribbon (3/4\" wide). The medal itself measures 2-1/4\" long x 1-3/4\" wide. Medal is in very good condition, has anice patina on the front, small dings/scratches/discoloration on the back from age and handling - we did not try to clean it. The medal is properly named.
