c1970\'s Kodachrome 35mm Slide New Orleans French Quarter Haircut Fireworks Sign For Sale

This authentic 35mm slide captures a slice of urban life in the French Quarter of New Orleans during the late 1970s. The primary subject is a weathered wooden sign mounted on a building exterior advertising a haircut for one dollar and twenty-five cents located upstairs. Below this, a secondary sign clearly displays the word fireworks in bold blue lettering on an orange background. The architectural details show significant wear with peeling white paint and a simple number eight visible on the adjacent door frame. Such signage provides a fascinating look at local commercial history and pricing from the era. The composition focuses tightly on the textures of the painted wood and the hand-drawn pointing finger graphic. Collectors of urban Americana and street photography will appreciate the candid nature of this documentation. The Kodachrome film stock retains excellent color saturation and sharp contrast in the lettering. The slide is in good condition with minimal signs of age or handling wear. SKU: B13-2-12
