**Product Description:**

Up for sale is an exquisite, masterfully carved authentic Zuni Pueblo fetish sculpture by renowned artist Michael Laweka (inscribed on the base as \"Mike Lawera Zuni\"). Standing at an impressive 4.25 inches tall, this piece is intricately hand-sculpted from a premium piece of shimmering gold-lip mother-of-pearl shell. The natural golden hue forms the maiden’s flowing hair, while the iridescent white shell captures the sculpted layers of her dress and feathers.

The sculpture portrays a traditional Standing Corn Maiden integrated with a protective eagle or bird figure flanking her side. The front of the maiden is richly adorned with colorful inlaid geometric accents, including turquoise mosaic dots, coral steps, and a bold circular malachite composite medallion near the base. The small bird figure is equally detailed with its own turquoise eye and body inlays.

**Condition:**

Excellent museum-grade condition. The mother-of-pearl displays an incredible, high-gloss luster with no chips, cracks, or missing inlay work. The base features a clean, highly legible artist signature. Please see all photos to appreciate the vibrant iridescence and detailed carving marks.
