Yokai Parade Playing Cards - Kickstarter Exclusive LUX Ed. by 52 Musée x 无理生长 For Sale

Yokai Parade Playing Cards is a series of poker decks created by 52 Musée x 无理生长, and inspired by Japanese mythological creatures (yokai). The LUX Edition is a Kickstarter exclusive, gold gilded, and gold foiled version of the Seimei Edition. This deck is fully illustrated, depicting 50 different yokai on the card faces (half of the Hyakki Yagyō/ Night Parade of One Hundred Demons!). Meanwhile the Aces highlight elements associated with the yokai selected for the tuck boxes of the other four standard editions (Tengu, Hannya, Shuten, and Yuki):

• Ace of Hearts: has flames that symbolize the Hannya's obsession and extreme emotions. (Hannya are the ghosts of women who become demons due to obsession or jealousy.)
• Ace of Diamonds: features ice crystals representing the Yuki-onna (a spirit associated with ice and snow who lures people to their deaths).
• Ace of Spades: the shadowy finish represents Shuten-doji's dark power. (Shuten-doji was a ruler of ogres who was killed by the famous mythological figure of Abe no Seimei -- who vanquished many yokai, he's similar to the figure of Solomon.)
• Ace of Clubs: showcases botanical elements that represent the mountains that Tengu are associated with. (Tengu are long nosed crow-like figures similar to monks who often are depicted as living in the mountains in a brotherhood.)

One new/sealed deck, #359/483 or #358/483.
