I am listing for sale, a RARE, WW11 US Army, Paratrooper Corps, Liquid Filled Wrist Compass. It features a Brown Bakelite Body, and the Original Leather adjustable Strap. Manufactured by Taylor Instruments Company, Rochester, New York. Marked on the back of the Case. These Wrist Compasses were worn on the wrist, or jump jacket, during operations like D-Day. A liquid filled directional compass, with black numeric degree markings. It is in very good condition. The leather is still very supple, and secure. The Bakelite Case is still filled with the Original Liquid. The Compass Arrow floats and moves. No cracks or breaks in the Bakelite.
