Boards very slightly bowing, light spotting & slight loss of dye along base of boards, slight fold (binding flaw) to title page, o/w hinges firm & solid & GOOD CONDITION.

Something of the author\'s methods may be gleaned from some passages in his introduction:

\"When engaged in the alluring quest of this golden knowledge one must remember always, however, that the entire basis of all the mystic characters, and of their successful apprehension and correct interpretation, is that of the pure and unfailing science of mathematics. It is that revered master, and not the author, who deposes and testifies herein. Mathematics being both wholly impersonal and utterly scientific, it is in fact the great liberator whose name is True and Faithful. Applied with understanding of its sacred principles to the signs and symbols of \'The House of Glory\' that is the Pyramid, it has the sublimest genius for testifying with the maximum of fundamental truth. It is the \'angel with the flaming sword\' which guards the approach to everlasting Eden; and it speaks with the resistless logic that is born of heavenly authority.\"

Whether the author was a Freemason is unknown, but his whole first chapter revolves around the 47th proposition of Euclid, which is of course an important concept in Masonry and the symbol of a Past Master.
