Vtg Mid Century Replica Carved Stone Pre-Columbian Monkey Shaman Ritual Sceptor For Sale

I did a lot of research on this very unique monkey scepter, and determined it waslikely made in the 1950s asa fine, collectible replica of an ancient Mesoamerican original. I could be wrong but err on the side of replica.
Ritual scepters like this were used by a chief or Shaman to project authority, symbolize elite status, or serve for ritual offerings. It is made of either Serpentine or soapstone and has an appealing variation of color.
