Vtg 1970s Buffalo Bill Wild West Brass Belt Buckle Early Sand Cast Official Souvenir 1892
Up for sale is a fantastic vintage solid brass Western fantasy belt buckle commemorating Buffalo Bill\'s Wild West Show. This is a highly desirable early-generation 1970s casting, featuring much sharper relief detailing on the face than common modern reproductions. The true orginal one was silver made by Tiffany
The reverse side is stamped with the classic diamond hallmark and reads \"Official Souvenir 1892\". True to early 1970s sand-cast production methods, the back features the authentic, ruggedly hand-welded heavy wire loop and flat bar clip clip rather than the machine-molded loops seen on later iterations.
The front features an incredibly crisp embossed relief scene of sharpshooter Annie Oakley performing trick shots while reclining on a galloping horse, along with an embossed profile medallion of Queen Victoria honoring the show\'s historic London Jubilee performance.
Measurements:
- Approx. 3.75\" Wide x 2.5\" Tall (Please see ruler photo for exact visual sizing)
- Fits belt widths up to approx. 1.75\" to 2\"
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a solid, heavy-weight construction. The early hand-welded loop and clip on the reverse are entirely secure and rock-solid. Shows beautiful, natural dark uncleaned brass patina from age and storage. We have left the patina exactly as found to preserve its vintage character.
A premium addition to any Western Americana, cowboy culture, Annie Oakley, or vintage brass belt buckle collection!
