Up for sale is a classic piece of American hardware history: a vintage Yale & Towne Mfg. Co. solid brass padlock. This heavy-duty lock features a beautiful, natural aged brass patina and is fully functional.
Key Features & Details:
• Front Markings: Deeply stamped with the iconic "YALE" logo, along with "MADE IN U.S.A. YALE & TOWNE MFG. CO."
• Top Markings: Stamped "HIGH GRADE PIN TUMBLER" across the top surface of the brass body.
• Shackle: Hardened steel shackle clearly stamped with "HARDENED". Shows historic weathering and minor surface wear but remains incredibly solid.
• Keys Included: Comes with two keys attached via vintage twine. One is a vintage brass clover-style key stamped with "THE YALE & TOWNE MFG. CO." and key code "38". The second is a silver-tone duplicate key stamped "MADE IN U.S.A." with code "1157".
