Vintage USSR Soviet Microscope ShM-1 LZOS Wood Case & Demo Slides As Is For Sale

Vintage item, Working but it's sold to use as a decoration or part of a collection. As Is.

Classic, heavy-duty vintage Soviet-era ШМ-1 (ShM-1) bological student and laboratory microscope manufactured by LZOS (Lytkarino Optical Glass Factory, USSR) between the 1960s and 1980

This piece of Cold War scientific history is built like a tank and remains fully functional, making it perfect for collectors, educators, vintage scientific displays, or unique home decor.

Original round stage and integrated glass slide clips, the original rectangular wooden storage case showing authentic vintage wear and patina, and three objectives/lenses.

Please note that while one lens is in great vintage condition, two lenses have partially broken or cracked external plastic housings; however, they remain completely functional and usable for viewing. You can obtain a clear image but the inside elements need to be cleaned.

The set also includes a small assortment of vintage specimen demo slides made in the UK, which were added by a previous owner and do not originally belong to the Soviet kit.

The metal frame and wooden case show light cosmetic surface wear, scuffs, and patina consistent with age and classroom use, so please review all photos carefully to assess condition details.
