These highly detailed architectural illustrations were compiled and drawn by John A. Tilley, Associate Professor of History at East Carolina University, in cooperation with the U.S. Coast Guard Historian's Office. Based on the artist's signature on the prints themselves, the East Coast print is dated 1987 and the West Coast print is dated 1997, showing this series was developed over roughly a decade.

Provenance: This specific used set comes directly from the smoke-free home of a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, adding a wonderful layer of authentic military and maritime connection to the collection.
