Overall VG - XLNT condition for this Rare, and Hard-to-Find, Vintage US Bureau of Ships - K&E Leroy Drafting Leather Wrapped Wood Case with Accessories. I could not find another example of this box in doing research. I assume it\'s a K&E, Keuffel & Esser, box, but may be wrong. Leather wrapping is in Excellent physical condition, with intact stitching and no deterioration, just marks from storage and handling. Front edge shows a custom designed leather handle and latches. Back side shows a brad finish nail created hinge, in Excellent condition. Bottom of box shows stains and more wear. Inside the box looks to Maple (?) wood frame with a divider and 2 v-blocks on forward edge. Pen marks, spilled ink and more signs of use and wear are apparent. Comes with a U.S. Government Navigator\'s Kit Case, made by Charvoz (Germany), with all tools in Excellent condition, with 1 corner ding; a K&E scriber tool (well used); 12 K&E pins assortment in case (all opened); a Rapidograph pen with replacement tip; a Pentel P207 mechanical pencil and a couple of other tools. Please see all pictures as they are the best description. Measures about 13-3/4\" long x 6-1/2\" wide. Don\'t miss this chance to get this Rare box!
