Up for sale is a beautiful vintage stoneware Slivovitz (Plum Brandy) jug and matching miniature tasting mug from the famous Schroffen distillery in Salzburg, Austria. This set features the classic Alpine "dimpled" texture and is intricately hand-painted with traditional Edelweiss and Gentian wildflowers.

​Design: Hand-painted floral motif with "Gruß aus Salzburg" (Greetings from Salzburg) inscribed at the base.

​Includes: Original cork stopper and miniature ceramic mug tied with a decorative red and white ribbon.

​Dimensions: Approximately 6" tall (to top of cork) with a 2.5" base diameter.

This set is in excellent vintage condition. The hand-painted colors remain bright and vibrant. The original "Handgemalt" (Hand-painted) paper label is still attached to the back. As is common with vintage Austrian ceramics, there is some light, age-appropriate crazing on the glaze of the miniature mug, which adds to its authentic character. No chips or cracks were noted.
