Vintage Sampson Truck Photo ORIGINAL PROVENANCE Brass Era Americana 6 Wheel 1910 For Sale

Up for your consideration is a piece of early automobile history from my personal local collection. Alleged to be of Alden Sampson himself shortly before his death, the photo was used by a local paper about 30 years ago on a history piece for the Berkshire area here. While I cannot confirm this is Alden himself as I cannot find a photo of him to compare, it is an early Sampson truck. I've only found about 4 photos anywhere of these trucks and none are original like this one. At 8" x 9.5" it is a rare larger photo, perfect for matting and framing. Sampson was a part of the amazing stories of early American car production who's life was cut extremely short, and thus even here in is home area it is extremely hard to find anything relating to the company at all. While no Henry Ford, Sampson's interesting approaches certainly garnered attention. A 6 wheeled truck with matching trailers hauling more stone than anyone could have imagined, for instance.
You simply do not find original professional photos from this era of American automotive ingenuity. Not to mention the company only produced cars for one year. A truly exceptional piece.
