Vintage NASA Viking Mars Photos VK-63–67 Set of 5 Space Photos Houston SEALED For Sale

Vintage Space Photos NASA Viking Mars Prints – VK-63 through VK-67 – Set of 5

Offered here is a vintage set of five original-period Space Photos prints featuring imagery from NASA’s Viking exploration of Mars.

The prints are consecutively numbered:

VK-63, VK-64, VK-65, VK-66 and VK-67

Each print retains its original Space Photos identification/order marking. The reverse states “For Additional Copies Specify Photo No.” followed by the individual VK number and identifies the distributor as:

SPACE PHOTOS

2608 Sunset Blvd.

Houston, Texas 77005

Space Photos was a Houston-based commercial distributor of space-program photographs, slides and related material during the height of the U.S. space program. Contemporary reference material documents the company at this same Houston address as a source for space photography.

This group is particularly nice because all five photographs are consecutive in the Space Photos Viking VK numbering sequence, VK-63 through VK-67, and have remained together as a set.

Condition: Excellent to near-mint vintage condition. The prints have been exceptionally well preserved. Please examine all listing photographs for exact condition, as the pictured prints are the exact items you will receive.

Quantity: 5 vintage prints total.

These are vintage commercially distributed Space Photos prints featuring NASA Viking imagery and are not being represented as NASA-issued photographic prints.

An unusual group for collectors of NASA memorabilia, Viking 1/Viking 2, Mars exploration, vintage space photography, JPL material or 1970s space-program ephemera.

All five prints will be shipped together with rigid protective packaging to prevent bending or damage in transit.

Condition: The prints are in excellent vintage condition and have been well preserved. There appears to be some sort of stain from the informational card that was within the seal. I belive it has only left a mark on the outer most photo VK-63. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition, as the pictured items are the exact prints you will receive.
