The sign is porcelain enamel over metal with two metal mounting grommets, one at the top and one at the bottom. This exact piece was previously cataloged by Kitson saleeering as a “Maule Rocket Aircraft fuel porcelain sign.”

A particularly interesting piece of vintage general-aviation advertising because it specifically promotes the Maule M-4 Rocket, rather than simply carrying the Maule corporate name.

The sign displays very well with bright colors and strong graphics. It shows appropriate vintage age wear. No restoration has been attempted.
