This exquisite Turkish Iznik style bottle vase is a unique piece of artwork crafted by renowned artist Mert El Sanatlari. Hand created with the highest quality materials, the vase is decorated with raised embossed detailing on a stunning multicolor fish design that symbolizes abundance and good fortune. A slip trail of traditional Turkish florals enhance the neck and handles. Measuring approximately 14 inches in height and 8.5 inches in diameter, this large vase has a 2” opening and is signed by the artist at the base. A few tiny specks of glaze skipping, which occurred in the kiln during its creation, can be seen in areas of the raised embossing on the fish. This is a common occurrence when firing pottery and ceramics, it isn’t immediately noticed or distracting , and does not affect the value, beauty, or integrity of this piece.
