Vintage hand-carved natural horn bird sculpture, approximately 11" tall and 8" long, with an oval base measuring roughly 2" x 3".

The bird has a graceful heron/crane-like form with especially nice handmade detailing, including:

Deeply textured carved wings
Long sculpted beak and flowing tail
Small rhinestone / glass eyes
Natural translucent variation and striation throughout the horn
Hollow sculptural base that can also accommodate a small candle

One photo shows the piece held up to a light to highlight the natural translucency and internal variation of the horn material. Exact horn species is unknown.

The hollow base works nicely as a small candle holder. A candle approximately 1.5" in diameter and under 3" tall would fit more comfortably than the larger 2" candle shown in the photos. Candle shown is for display only and is not included.
