VINTAGE GRUNDIG MAJESTIC 2028 U TUBE RADIO - FOR PARTS / RESTORATION

Up for sale is a classic mid-century Grundig Majestic Model 2028 U vacuum tube tabletop radio, made in West Germany. Excellent restoration candidate or donor unit for vintage audio collectors.

FUNCTIONAL CONDITION:

- Powers on and produces static sound through speaker.

- Tuning and volume knobs are stiff or do not turn properly.

- Sold STRICTLY AS-IS for parts, repair, or full restoration.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

- Front Cabinet: Wood veneer along the bottom front edge shows prominent chipping/peeling near the Grundig badge.

- Side Speaker Grille: Fabric lining behind the plastic slats has tear/wear spots (see close-up photos).

- Cabinet Finish: Clear coat shows age-appropriate crazing, finish wear, and minor scuffs.

- Back Cover & Bottom: Original back panel is intact with legible specifications/tube chart; original feet are attached.
