Vintage Fukagawa Arita Set of 2 Pagoda Landscape Cups Black Gold Rim Japan:
$24.99

A set of 2 vintage Fukagawa Arita hand painted porcelain cups. Each has a black and gray ink style landscape with a pagoda, pine trees, and misty mountains, with a gold rim and a small gold stripe on the handle.
The bottom of each cup is marked Fukagawa, Arita, Hand Painted, Made in Japan, with a small Mount Fuji logo. These are cups only, with no saucers. They’d make a pretty pair for coffee or tea, or they look striking on display.
Condition is used and I’ve photographed both cups. There is some light wear to the gold rim and the foot rings are discolored. There’s a dark mark on the foot ring of one cup and a tiny dark dot near the handle of the other. Otherwise I don’t see any chips, cracks, or repairs.
Each cup measures about 3.5 inches tall and about 5 inches across including the handle.
I pack porcelain carefully in bubble wrap and ship within 1-2 days.
