Charming vintage Dresden lace porcelain boudoir lamp featuring an elegant Victorian-style lady dressed in an elaborate pink and cream ruffled gown with a matching bonnet. The figure holds a basket decorated with applied porcelain flowers and is mounted on an ornate porcelain base accented with hand-painted gold decoration.

The lady’s dress was created using the traditional Dresden porcelain lace technique, in which real textile lace was coated in porcelain slip and fired, leaving behind a delicate porcelain mesh. The intricate layered skirt, floral applications, facial painting, and Rococo-inspired base give the lamp a highly decorative mid-century German appearance.

The porcelain is marked with the blue crown and script monogram associated with Franz Wittwer of Dresden-Gittersee, Germany, a workshop known for Dresden lace figurines and decorative porcelain lamps.
