Vintage Franco Moretti Signed Frosted Red Blue Orange Murano Perfume Bottle For Sale

Striking vintage Franco Moretti Murano art glass perfume bottle, featuring the distinctive Scavo finish associated with Moretti’s sculptural Italian glasswork.

H: 5”

The bottle has a wonderfully architectural form: a squat, rounded body in vivid coral-orange glass with a deliberately frosted, excavated-looking Scavo surface, finished with a substantial polished cobalt blue glass collar. The coordinating stopper features a translucent orange spherical finial and fitted glass stem.

The contrast between the ancient-looking Scavo texture and bold saturated colors gives the piece a distinctly Postmodern Italian design sensibility. Beautiful displayed as collectible Murano glass, on a vanity, or incorporated into a modernist interior.

Details: Signed Franco Moretti to the underside. Authentic Murano art glass made in Italy. Scavo-finish orange/coral glass body with cobalt blue collar and original coordinating glass stopper. Vintage late-20th-century design.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear. The textured, mottled appearance of the body is characteristic of the intentional Scavo finish and should not be mistaken for damage. Please review photographs closely for condition and details.

A particularly beautiful example of Moretti’s work, combining traditional Murano glassmaking with the bold color, geometry, and experimentation of late-20th-century Italian design.
