Vintage Fiestaware Ivory Covered Onion Soup Bowl W/lid 1936-37 Rare Fiestaware For Sale

Vintage Homer Laughlin Fiesta Covered Onion Soup Bowl – Original Ivory – 1936–1937

Beautiful and scarce vintage Fiesta covered onion soup bowl in Ivory, complete with its original fitted lid.

The covered onion soup is one of the harder-to-find pieces from the early Fiesta line and was produced for only a short period. This example has the rounded interior bottom/unmarked variation and the distinctive applied scroll handles.

Approximate measurements:

* 6 1/8” handle to handle

* 4 1/2” tall with lid

* 2 7/16” foot

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition overall considering its age and rarity. There are two chips to the underside foot/base rim, both shown clearly in the close-up photos. These are located on the bottom foot and are not readily visible when the bowl is displayed upright. No other chips, cracks or repairs observed. There is normal vintage wear/discoloration consistent with age. Please review all photos carefully as they are an important part of the condition description.
