Vintage Case XX 5172 Bulldog large folding clasp knife with genuine stag handles and its fitted wooden presentation box.

The tang markings and configuration identify this as a 1965–1969 Case XX USA 5172. It features the desirable Bulldog blade etch with bulldog graphic, stag handle scales, nickel silver bolsters, brass liners, and oval CASE shield. The reverse of the blade is marked “HAND MADE IN U.S.A.”

Includes the fitted wooden CASE XX BULLDOG display box shown in the photos.

Condition

Pre-owned vintage condition. Knife shows significant age-related wear including surface scratches, patina, spotting and areas of oxidation/discoloration on the blade. Bolsters show scratches, tarnish and handling wear. Stag handles show normal age and appear intact from the photos. Blade etching and tang markings remain visible. Wooden presentation box shows cosmetic wear, marks and age. Knife has not been heavily polished or restored. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
