Vintage Case Tested XX Greenbone Handle & Hatchet from KNIFEAXE Combo Set VG:
$149.00

This is a vintage Case Tested XX KNIFEAXE handle and a newer hatchet blade made between 1935 and 1940. It measures 11 1/2\" overall with a 7\" hatchet blade. The handle is green bone (bovine bone) with a winterbottom type jigging. There are 2 tight pin cracks on one side. The handle locking bar has a ruler stamped on one side and PAT. OCT. 22,1935 on the other side. I think the hatchet blade is a newer version stamped CASE XX only. It does have some moderate pitting on both sides and locks tight in place. This is part of the KNIFEAXE set that included a knife blade and leather sheath, but these are not included. Thanks for looking
