Vintage Bohnel Warmink WUBA Moon Phase Mantel Clock Mechanical Dutch Holland For Sale

Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age-related wear. Wood case shows scratches, finish wear, areas of crazing/checking, and some small finish losses. Brass-tone hardware has natural patina. Glass, dial, hands, and moon-phase display are present. Mechanical operation has not been tested, so it is being sold as untested. Please review all photos carefully for exact cosmetic condition.

Beautiful vintage Böhnel / Warmink WUBA mechanical mantel clock with an ornate traditional European-style wood case and decorative brass-tone accents. The front features Roman numerals, elaborate black hands, an architectural scene, three winding points, and an attractive upper moon-phase display.

The clock has several identifying markings. The dial is marked Warmink, the mechanical movement inside carries the WUBA mark, and the rear of the case has a BÖHNEL label. Warmink/WUBA was a Dutch clockmaker known for decorative mechanical mantel and bracket clocks, including moon-phase models. Comparable Warmink WUBA moon-phase clocks commonly use mechanical 8-day movements.

The case is richly decorated with a brass carrying handle, four acorn-style finials, ornate corner feet, decorative side trim, and pierced side panels. The rear door opens to provide access to the mechanical movement.

This clock has not been tested for timekeeping, winding, striking, chiming, or moon-phase operation, and servicing may be required due to age. There is visible age-related finish cracking/crazing and cosmetic wear to the wooden case, all shown in the photographs.
