Vintage Amy Hess Signed Female Figure Stainless Steel Candleholders Pair MCM Art:
$127.49

Offered is a pair of handmade, signed Amy Hess sculptural stainless-steel candleholders, dating to the 1990s.

Each candleholder features four stylized female figures incorporated into the sculptural design, along with a tall taper-candle socket. The brushed stainless steel and unusual figural design give these candleholders a distinctive MCM / modernist Amy Hess

Material: Brushed stainless steel

Period: 1990s

Origin: United States

Quantity: Pair of 2

Style: MCM / Modernist / Eclectic

Dimensions: Approximately 7" tall x 3 1/8" wide each

Signature: Signed Amy Hess on the underside

Bases: Small protective feet on the underside help prevent scratching furniture surfaces

Judaica / Shabbat:
These candleholders could be used as Judaica Shabbat/Sabbath candleholders, as the pair provides two candleholders traditionally used for Shabbat.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. One of the candleholders has a small amount of movement in the four sculptural figures; the figures move back and forth slightly. This appears to be related to the construction of the piece, but I am noting it for full disclosure. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are considered part of the description.

A distinctive pair of handmade sculptural candleholders by Amy Hess, suitable for an MCM, modernist, eclectic, or Judaica-inspired setting.
