Up for sale is a magnificent, highly collectible vintage mid-century modernist cube container designed by legendary Italian designer Alessandro Albrizzi. Expertly crafted from an incredibly thick, heavy block of premium cast acrylic (Lucite), this sculptural piece features a signature concave spherical interior well.

The lid is constructed with Albrizzi’s signature dual cylindrical metal-pin pivoting hinge, allowing it to swivel smoothly to the side rather than lifting straight off. This versatile Space Age piece effortlessly transitions between a high-end barware ice bucket, a luxurious vanity jewelry chest, or a commanding architectural table object.

This authentic 1970s piece is in stable, beautiful vintage condition, displaying signs of age that tell its history:

Surface Wear: Light surface scratches, minor handling scuffs, and faint abrasions are present across the exterior facets, primarily concentrated around the bottom edges and base.

Internal Crazing: There is a tight cluster of minor, organic internal crazing (faint hairline stress lines within the interior matrix) located at the bottom curve of the inner circular bowl. This is a very common age characteristic of thick 1970s cast resin and does not impact the structural integrity of the cube.
