Striking vintage fiber art wall hanging featuring a bold geometric butterfly/moth-inspired design with dramatic hand-braided yarn tassels.This is an especially eye-catching piece with a wonderful mid-century modern / 1970s aesthetic. The design combines mustard gold, burnt orange/rust, chocolate brown, black and warm cream in a large symmetrical geometric pattern.Unlike a typical small latch-hook craft piece, this was designed for wall display, with an elongated format and substantial decorative braided fringe and tassels that give it a sculptural, dimensional appearance.The hooked textile portion measures approximately 38” long × 15” wide, with the decorative tassels extending beyond the textile body.
