Up for sale is a wonderful, highly nostalgic 4-piece lot of vintage Sesame Street twisty spiral silly straws. Manufactured in 1994 by the renowned giftware company Applause in partnership with Jim Henson Productions, these colorful straws are a classic mid-90s throwback.

Each straw features a vibrant fluorescent colored spiral tube with a detailed, molded hard plastic PVC character topper fixed firmly onto the upper stem.

CHARACTERS:

• Big Bird on a bright pink spiral straw

• Bert on a vibrant green spiral straw

• Ernie on a bright yellow spiral straw

• Grover on a purple spiral straw

MARKINGS:

Each molded character figurine is clearly stamped on the reverse side with the official manufacturing markings: "JMP Applause China 1" (Jim Henson Productions / Applause).

CONDITION REPORT:

The straws are in excellent vintage condition. The plastic colors remain incredibly bright and vivid, and the molded PVC character figures feature excellent molded detail with clean paint lines.

There are no cracks, splits, or heavy marks on the drinking tips.
