Vintage 1978 Emperor School Clock Kit NOS Unassembled Original Box Movement For Sale

Vintage Emperor Clock Company School Clock Kit, believed to date to approximately 1978, from Emperor Clock Company of Fairhope, Alabama.

This is an unusual survivor that appears to have remained largely unassembled in its original factory/shipping packaging. The outer carton is clearly marked Emperor Clock Company, School Clock Kit, and Glass, and retains original period shipping and C.O.D. labels.

Included are the original internal cardboard dividers and packing materials, a separately boxed Emperor Clock Company clock movement and other wooden clock components still packed within the original carton, and an original hardware packet containing assorted installation/assembly hardware.

Visible package markings include:

* EC-2588

* 37833

* School Clock Kit

* Internal box marked Model 10…

* Original Emperor Clock Company address in Fairhope, Alabama

* Original UPS / C.O.D. shipping paperwork

The kit appears complete based on the contents visible in the box, but I have intentionally not completely unpacked or assembled it in order to preserve the original packing configuration and avoid unnecessary handling of the vintage components.

The clock movement remains separately boxed and has not been tested. the kit has not been fully inventoried piece by piece, Please review all photos carefully for exactly what is included and for condition.

Outer box and packaging show expected age-related wear including creasing, tears, edge wear, surface marks, old tape, and storage wear. Interior components appear well protected considering the age.

Piece was part of an estate of what appeared to be a big collector who seemed to value and care for his extensive collection.

A very interesting piece for an Emperor Clock collector, vintage clock enthusiast, horology collector, woodworker, or restoration project. Finding one of these old Emperor kits still packed in its original shipping carton with the movement, hardware, and internal packaging intact is much less common than finding an already assembled Emperor clock.
