Vintage 1972 Vietnam Era Military Letter Surf Comic Kwajalein Atoll Cancellation:
$14.00

This unique December 1972 handwritten letter offers a fascinating personal look at military life during the final months of the Vietnam War era. Sent by service member David C. McGown via APO San Francisco 96555 (Kwajalein Atoll), the letter features a humorous, hand-drawn tropical cartoon depicting a castaway soldier on a beach. Inside, David expresses his deep homesickness to his grandmother, describing the surreal experience of celebrating a snowless Christmas in the Pacific. It comes complete with the original postmarked Via Air Mail envelope, making it a great addition for collectors of military history and 1970s ephemera.
