Rare XL example of vintage 1970's Scandinavian needlework folk art - perhaps intended as a rug or wall hanging? You can find Swedish or Norwegian vintage kits sold with bell pulls & pillows, but I've never seen such a giant piece before. Very well done in long-stitch cross-embroidery with wool(?) yarn in a retro design in shades of yellow orange khaki brown & white, the rug has a whip-stitched cotton backing (folded over next-to-last pic) but no hanging apparatus - if you wish to put it on the wall you'll have to add hooks/rod.

Looks lightly or never used with a little bit of fuzz; also there is 1 missed stitch that has been colored in with a marker (last pic) - you'd never notice it if not called out - I accidentally saw it as I was folding the piece.
