Vintage 1967 Second Korean War Zippo DMZ 1968-1969 Quick Reaction Force Infantry For Sale

For sale here is a custom zippo that is part of military history. The markings on the bottom indicate the lighter was manufactured in 1967.

We had a neighbor growing up who served in Korea in the late 60s. He was close with my brother and gave him this lighter. My brother passed in 2004 and I found this in his things. I am confident it is authentic and belonged to our neighbor.

There was a conflict at the DMZ of the Koreas in the late 60s (\"The Second Korean War\"). The 2 / 17 infantry was in South Korea these years. The engraving QRF is for the Quick Reaction Force, company A, 2nd battalion, 17th regiment.

I can provide the buyer with this serviceman\'s name if they wish to pull more info from the national archives and honor his memory and service.
