Vintage Camillus Pilot Survival Knife with the early 6-inch blade, made in Camillus, New York. This is the early-production version of the classic U.S. military pilot/aircrew survival knife, dating approximately to 1959–1962 before the blade was shortened to 5 inches.
Blade is marked “CAMILLUS N.Y.” and features the distinctive clip-point profile and sawback spine. Knife has a stacked leather handle, two-hole guard, and heavy hex-style pommel.
Includes the vintage leather sheath with sharpening-stone pouch, and the sharpening stone is still present.
Knife shows honest age and use, including blade patina, oxidation, scratches, discoloration, and wear to the stacked leather handle and metal fittings. Sheath shows scuffs, staining, surface wear, and normal aging, but remains complete.
A desirable early Camillus pilot survival knife setup with the harder-to-find 6-inch blade and sharpening stone.
