The approximately 12"x10" 1940s Campus Tags Advertising Boards have an attic smell similar to Masonite or workshop pegboard. The vintage 1940s Campus Tags Advertising Plaques are in good pre-owned condition and show signs of wear and age. There's discreet nail hole at the top of each plaque and various scuffs, dings, soiling and wear on the front, back, corners, and edges. In addition there is discoloration on the back of each plaque. The areas of staining, including the upper corner have no rot or weakness in any way. The plaques are made of dense pressed wood or paper fiber with finished paper overlay. These esquire style fashion illustrations are still vibrant and the backings are structurally sound. In spite of the authentic wear the plaques are in good shape and handle easily.
