About the Item:
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic 1930s vintage point-of-sale cardboard store display sign advertising Plankinton's Globe Ham and Bacon. This beautiful piece features an anthropomorphic Easter bunny dressed in a dapper tuxedo tailcoat, carrying a colorful bouquet of spring flowers next to a large red Easter egg.
Plankinton's was a major midwestern meatpacking fixture, and their premium Easter ham campaigns from the 1930s featured this iconic, whimsical art style.
