Victorian Eastlake Carved Wooden Frame w/ Gold Liner for Small Painting/ Picture For Sale

This Victorian Eastlake Carved Wooden Frame with Gold Liner is a deep frame made of walnut, suitable for hanging a small painting or portrait. Handmade during the Victorian era (1837-1900), this ornate frame features intricate carvings and a gold liner. With a slightly rectangular shape and clear glass, this frame is perfect for showcasing a small oil painting or picture size of 6.25 x 5.34, The gilded liner has darkened in spots and may or may not be cleaned (?). I haven\'t ever tried to clean it and it was always displayed as is. When taking the back off, several Victorian cards were inside (not included) along with this small, signed etching of a winter scene titled \'A Merry Christmas\'. The signature is J. V??????. The mahogany-colored frame is beautifully carved and has small, dotted flower designs. The outside diameter is 11 1/4\" x 10 3/4\" with a depth of 1 3/4\". The image size is 6 1/4\" x 5 3/4\".
