Veracruz amethyst is a highly prized variety of quartz that is sourced exclusively from the volcanic regions of Veracruz Mexico (specifically Las Vigas), typically found within small, narrow cavities in volcanic vesicular andesite. This amethyst is known for its slender, elongated, and highly transparent, light-lavender to deep-purple crystals. These crystals are distinct for their delicate, often doubly-terminated, and laser-like shapes found in volcanic host rock
