Antique Vantine’s incense burner in figural owl form, circa 1920s Art Deco. The owl body lifts off its scalloped base to reveal the incense tray; smoke vents through the drilled eyes for that classic figural-burner effect. The underside of the base is signed “Vantine’s” with a model number.From the famous New York City import house of A.A. Vantine & Co., a leading importer of Asian-inspired decorative wares in the early 20th century.Please note: the finish has been repainted at some point, rather than original patina — priced accordingly.
