This piece comes from the Estate of an amazing man, Max Storm, of St. Louis MO. Mr. Storm was renowned in St. Louis for many things as he was a long time professor of architecture. He also is the original founder of the 1904 World\'s Fair Society in the mid 1980s. Mr. Storm and his beloved wife were world travelers. While we do not have evidence that this piece was purchased on a trip, it is one of many items coming from many countries that were part of the incredible estate.
The best description of this piece is to review all images. It has the wordsTsarevna-Lyagushka painted on the front in Russian. That translates to \"Frog Princess\". The structure of the box is sturdy and in overall good condition considering its age. The painted top of the box has some \"cracking or crazing\" of the finish.
