# Vintage Gettysburg PA 1863 Civil War Souvenir Plate - Salem Swirl Rim *CHIPPED*
Up for sale is an authentic piece of mid-century travel memorabilia: a vintage Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Civil War battlefield souvenir collector plate. Produced around the 1950s/1960s for tourists visiting the historic site, this plate features a beautiful, highly detailed graphic collage showcasing critical battlefield landmarks.
### Featured Imagery:- Abraham Lincoln giving the Gettysburg Address- The Battle of Gettysburg (charging cavalry & cannons)- Eternal Light Peace Memorial- Pennsylvania State Memorial- Virginia State Memorial- North Carolina Monument- New York State Monument
The plate features an elegant embossed "Salem Swirl" textured rim highlighted with bright, metallic gold gilding accents.
### Condition Note (Please Read):This plate is a beautiful historical survivor, but it does have a flaw. There is a single, clear chip located on the outer scalloped edge of the rim (please check the close-up photos to verify the exact size and placement of the white unglazed spot where it chipped). Aside from this single rim chip, the central graphics are beautifully vibrant, the glaze is glossy, and the remaining gold filigree accents are crisp. It is priced lower accordingly, making it a perfect, budget-friendly display piece for a Civil War history display or travel collection!
