• Management: For a period in its operating lifetime, it was managed under the Ernst Clarenbach Systems, a notable regional hotel accounting and management method.
• The Ground Floor: The first level housed popular social spots over the years, transitioning from the Mir-O-Bar into Martin\'s Caribbean Cocktail Lounge and Dining Room, which served seafood, steaks, ribs, and barbecue chicken. In its final years, rooms could be rented for as low as $2.
• 1958: The building was pulled down. The former site of the hotel is now occupied by the US Bank Center, the tallest skyscraper in Wisconsin
