This antique, 2 inch, casket-style, art nouveau snuff box is 750 silver rather than 925. Etched into the bottom and into the inside of the lid is an "X." This tiny box is a beautiful example of art nouveau. Its country of origin is a question.

The snuff box is missing its original hinge pin but otherwise is in very good condition. The repousee is very well done.
